I had the honor of photographing the grand opening for Belle Mode Intimates. I’d say it was a success. There was a great turn out and I met some pretty incredible ladies there. Here’s the video I created and of course the photos.

A Little Break

Just taking a little break before the High School Senior season. I’m looking forward to the busy work ahead and gearing up for the class of 2013. So how do I take a little break? By practicing my craft. It was such a nice afternoon after the rain, I took my little one out on a fun shoot. She’s definitely my favorite model.

MK {Northern, Va High School Senior Photographer}

MK is my Senior Representative and will be graduating in 2013. He’ll be representing Gena Roma Photography throughout the remainder of his Junior year his Senior year. For more information on how you can be a Senior Rep click here.

First of all MK was a great sport and took direction well. Seriously this kid is great in front of the camera! He’s such a good kid too. All my shoots are special and have story. MK’s story? he’ll be leaving for a few months this summer to fulfill his ROTC obligations and after high school, he aims to serve his country by being in the military. His mother, Tammy Kafami, owner of Simply Couture Events, knows time is fleeting and her little boy is growing up. She and her husband are savoring every minute and will cherish this time with their son. As a parent, I can relate. My kids are still very young but I think all parents look at their children no matter what age and wish time could just stand still. My job is to preserve special moments in your lives, to freeze time by taking photographs that will take you back to that special place.

CSN {Northern Va. High School Senior Photographer}

Another fun shoot this weekend. CSN is a gorgeous senior and was a dream client. It was cold and windy but my beautiful senior was such a trooper to brave the cold and gusty winds. You wouldn’t have known that it was 3o degrees out and that didn’t include wind chill. Thank goodness the sun was out although it didn’t do much to warm us up.
